One year ago: The Isabel Dream Project
What Adam fan could ever forget the amazing saga of Isabel, and how Sean and dozens of fans banded together to help make her dream come true….

We are so proud of our friend and fellow Adam enthusiast SweetSexySean for making Isabel’s dream come true! Like many of us, Sean was bowled over by the YouTube video in which 89-year-old Isabel sang Happy Birthday to Adam and spoke about how much she loves Adam’s music. “You’re a great guy…you’re good-looking on the outside and beautiful on the outside… I hope some day I get to meet you before my time comes…Be humble, be true to yourself…You’re in my mind and in my heart all the time.”
The YouTube moved us to tears, and it moved Sean and some other fans to take a further step to help Isabel achieve her dream of seeing Adam perform. One gave Isabel and Joy a pair of tickets. Sean called Fantasy Springs and got the resort to contribute hotel accommodations. Then Sean decided to try to raise the money so all expenses would be covered. He went on Twitter and fan sites to ask fans to donate. There were unexpected pitfalls and complications, which we won’t go into here. Suffice it to say that the goal was reached, and Isabel and Joy will be seeing Adam’s show very soon.

Watching that video of Adam and Isabel made me think of only one thing – what entertainer in recent memory(or past memory for that matter) ever extended themselves as much as Adam does, especially here? Honestly speaking, who does this; to go out of their way to make one person, regardless of their age, so happy and to make that person’s dream of meeting them come true? Quite frankly, other than Adam, I can’t think of anyone else. And this is the reason why everyone loves Adam with the passion that we all do; he gives more of himself to others than anyone else I have ever seen. When an older person such as Isabel , who has experienced more in life than most of us have, views Adam as beautiful both outwardly and inwardly and can say that he is a wonderful person, I would take her word for it. Adam is the type of person you want to have as a friend, a family member, a son, a boyfriend, a lover, a husband. Inside of Adam is a spark that can light up the New York City skyline at night, and ultimately, someone’s life and make it all worthwhile. Adam has done this for me, and I would imagine, countless others; may his inner spark always stay ignited and as brilliantly lit as it is now. Adam is the most shining star in the constellation and our dream come true. Thank you Adam for just being you.
Thank you for this retrospective. It is one of the greatest moment of Adam fans and the first of many generous things they have done.

well, I didn’t think I would get teary, but I did – brings back such memories. This was an incredible story. And I met Isabel and Joy at Fantasy Springs too.

Thanks for bring back the smiles & tears… looking at Isabels face alight with sheer pleasure of meeting Adam, I am reminded of the good-hearted generosity of Adam’s fans… starting with Sean, who imagined what could be & created a framework to make it possible.
Good on ya Sean… many of us smiled at Isabe’s utube message to Adam but it was you who turned an “awwwww moment” into action &, in so doing, made Isabel very happy! I remember that, although many of us supported your efforts on her behalf, there were detractors as well & some of them were quite noisy to say the least. Thank you for having the courage of your convictions & ducking the “slings & arrows” for long enough to make this wonderful moment happen!
