Chicago Tribune – Review: Queen and Adam Lambert reigned triumphant during a dazzling United Center performance. “Queen didn’t need a victory lap, as its rock ‘n’ roll pantheon status has long been evident through the band’s ubiquitous presence in pop culture over the course of five decades. If anything, its fan base has grown since last fall’s release of the long-gestating, Academy Award-winning biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” Still, the United Center encore, which included “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions,” was triumphant.”

Twin Cities – Queen + Adam Lambert bask in post-‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ glow at high-energy show. “To be clear, Lambert is no Freddie Mercury and he’s the first to tell you. “I’m a huge fan, too,” he said early in the show. “I’m up here tonight only to celebrate the irreplaceable, one and only Freddie Mercury.” But Lambert is terrific at offering up his own version of the electric, unforgettable energy the late Mercury brought to the stage. And his soaring vocals don’t fully imitate Mercury’s, but rather suggest them, in the best possible way.”

StarTribune – Thanks to hit biopic, Queen rules in St. Paul. “…when Lambert interpreted Queen’s ballads, pop tunes and epic Broadwayesque selections, he totally owned it. Bathed in a rainbow of lasers, he belted “Who Wants To Live Forever” like it was the 11 o’clock number of an Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. He soared with a rich, robust vibrato on “The Show Must Go On” as if it were the theme song of the tour. He found an impossibly high, Mercury-rising note on “Somebody to Love,” the perfect combination of passion and panache. And he totally channeled Mercury in an apt way on “Bohemian Rhapsody” without trying to replace the legend he dubbed “irreplaceable.””

The Intelligencer – Adam Lambert hitting all the right notes for Queen. “There is no other band that has come back a generation removed from its heyday like Queen. Much thanks to Lambert who engaged the audience, danced and changed costumes as many times as Diana Ross did back in the day.”

Variety – Queen + Adam Lambert at Madison Square Garden: The 5 Best Moments. “Since Lambert joined forces with Queen cofounders May and drummer Roger Taylor eight years ago, the group has enjoyed a big resurgence, boosted by last year’s biopic, “Bohemian Rhapsody,” which earned four Academy Awards, including Best Actor for Rami Malek’s portrayal of the late Freddie Mercury.”

Edge Media – Spectacular ‘Rhapsody Tour’ Celebrates Freddie Mercury. “With tickets approaching four figures on the secondary market, “The Rhapsody Tour” is many things, not least of all an astonishing experience that left even this frequent concertgoer (and only vague Queen fan) in awe. With top-notch production values and original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor seemingly still at the top of their games, this isn’t an iconic band resting on their laurels or going through the motions. The spectacular show, which features 27 songs over two hours, is especially impressive for being something that rock concerts rarely are: moving.”

Playmobil The Movie review – resolutely kids’ stuff. “Latter-day Queen singer Lambert’s manic, camp turn as Maximus also injects welcome hysteria to otherwise daffily amiable events.”

“Leading by example is a form of activism.”

Billboard – 5 LGBTQ Trailblazers on Why ‘The World Is Changing’: Billboard’s First Pride Roundtable. “… Adam Lambert, 37, whose work as a solo artist, with Queenand on American Idol a decade ago has helped pave the way for many queer artists today….”
