Have been on vacation! Sorry for the long absence.

Billboard – Watch Adam Lambert’s Hip-Swiveling Cover of ‘Faith’ on ABC’s ‘Greatest Hits’ “It takes a strong man, baby, to cover George Michael, butAdam Lambert was up to the task on the season finale of ABC’s Greatest Hits Thursday night (Aug. 4). “We have a multi-talented child of the ’80s born back in 1982,” said co-host Kelsea Ballerini as she introduced the American IdolSeason 8 alum. Lambert had a blast, throwing in some hip swivels and megawatt charm as he took on Michael’s “Faith” at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater. “The boy can sing,” surmised host Arsenio Hall.”

Digital Journal – Review: Adam Lambert superb on George Michael’s ‘Faith’ on Greatest Hits “Overall, Adam Lambert was able to tip his hat to George Michael on the ABC show Greatest Hits with his distinct version of the chart-topping single “Faith.” His refreshing and nostalgic rendition garnered 5 out of 5 stars.”

“It’s the rush that keeps me alive…”

Someone leaked this gem, the demo recording.

ADAM LAMBERT, SHERYL CROW, CYNDI LAUPER, NELLY ALSO PERFORMING ON “GREATEST HITS” FINALE “Per an official press release, the two-hour broadcast will also include performances by Sheryl Crow, Adam Lambert, Cyndi Lauper, and Nelly. Additional performers will be confirmed at a later date. Celebrating the music of the period between 1980 and 2005, the live “Greatest Hits” finale will air on Thursday, August 4.”

Soundbath –Adam Lambert’s Beautiful Voice “As a vocalist myself, I appreciate his voice, his level of vocal technique, and mastery greatly. Coupled with the fact that he is also one of the most exciting performers I have ever seen, makes following his career particularly enjoyable. Fans of Adam Lambert know of his earlier operatic training, which had instilled good singing practice, a keen understanding of his vocal instrument, the proper use of his body’s muscles to support his breath and voice, and masterful phrasing and story telling skills. Years spent singing in musical theatre have honed Adam’s interpretative and communication skills, and his stage craft.  This, coupled with a sharp intellect and a seemingly sound intuition, has afforded him a uniquely expert way of interpreting songs. He seems to be able to sing any genre authentically from pop music to rock anthems and everything in between.”

Rolling Stone – 5 Reasons Trump Shouldn’t Use a Queen Song in His Campaign “The henna-haired egoist’s using the 1978 anthem as the soundtrack to a conception of himself as Michael Dudikoff in Iron Eagle should surprise no one: For more than 30 years “We Are the Champions” has played as background noise at every third-rate minor league stadium. But certain realities should have been obvious to the Mad Tweeter…”

ABC REVEALS SONG CHOICES FOR “GREATEST HITS” FINALE, INCLUDING ARIANA GRANDE’S WHITNEY HOUSTON TRIBUTE “Adam Lambert will cover George Michael’s “Faith,” while John Legend will offer his take on two Lauryn Hill hits. Other performances include a tribute to hip-hop by Flo Rida and a tribute to Whitney Houston by Ariana Grande. The show airs at 9PM ET on August 4.”

Adam’s Snapchat, Welcome to Space is sooo weird…again he seems to be alluding to my Grandma June story where Grandma June was abducted to Space to *concoct her aphrodisiac soup. The previous Snapchat…Adam made a Big Eyes story alluding to Red Hair who said: Grandma, what big eyes you have. By the way, Adam said he has not started to concoct his new album…concoct an album?
Mmm…Not so sure if I could continue the Grandma June story…those Aliens have gone home to the galaxy periphery with Grandma’s soup recipe. lol! I like this Welcome to Space Snapchat, helluva weidooo lol!

    Continuation…Grandma June

Knock! Knock! It’s me Red Hair.
Grandma June was in the kitchen boiling those aphrodisiac herbs to make her special soup. She turned off the fire and walked briskly to open the door. She loved Red Hair like her own grandson; the little inquisitive boy visited her several times a week when his Dad went to town to sell his farm produce and dropped him off at Grandma’s cottage.

Helloo Red Hair! and she gave him a long warm hug.
Hi Grandma June, have Zook and the clones returned for more soup recipes?
No, Red Hair, they seem so satisfied with what they got because it seems the aphrodisiac soup induced more alien babies to be born.

Red Hair, how did they make so many clones er copies that are almost identical to you?

Grandma, actually I wasn’t even aware I was being copied. When I awoke, I found myself lying alone in a glass encasement, soundless; a bright light was shining on me. Grandma, the bright light is like the one Dad was beamed at by that strange creature that flew up the trees in the woods.

So you have no idea how they made so many clones of you?

I remember a doctor with a mask, pricked my finger and syringed a tiny drop of my blood onto a little round dish and then I dozed off. The next morning, I felt less blurry and I got up to look around. Wahh! I saw so many Red Hair each one standing in a separate glass case with a beam of red light shining on them. They looked like human robots.
But they were very nice to me. When they saw me, they stepped out of their individual glass case and took me to a beautiful pyramid via a tunnel portal.
Then, ooooh…each one jumped off the pyramid and whoa! they just floated into space! I was scared to jump off the pyramid. Zook encouraged me to jump. I closed my eyes and jumped! And then, walah! I was floating! I daren’t open my eyes and when I finally took a peek, oh! it was pitch-darkness except for the beams of light oozing out of my alien pals.
And then I got less scared and pretended to fly like Superman! It was such a lot of fun and Zook is very smart, he can somersault, twist, shapeshift and soar in a zig-zag trail of light.

Grandma June, why don’t you come join us.
No, Red Hair, what if I get blown away into the darkness! hoo hoo hooo…

Knock! Knock! Now who can that be. Red Hair opened the door.

Hellooo Zook! Wow, we were justing talking about you.

Zook seemed to look sad and started crying.
    What’s the matter Zook?

Red Hair, we need your help. Weirdoo is dying.

You mean my best clone pal Weirdoo…why? He is a little strange-looking though and that’s why they nickname him Weirdoo. Don’t cry Zook, how can I help?

Weirdoo needs a blood transfusion and only you have his blood type.
Okay, I can donate some blood if it helps to keep him alive.

Within seconds…Zook and Red Hair teleported through a time warp portal and arrived in the glass encasement where Weirdoo was gasping his last breath. His body was heaving up and down in a state of convulsion.
The alien doctor who had syringed Red Hair’s tiny drop of blood previously to make his clones, frantically carried out the same procedure. He then injected the drop of blood directly into Weirdoo’s artery and administered an electric current into his heart. Lo and behold, Weirdoo stopped gasping but still in comatose.
Red Hair knelt and prayed for Weirdoo to wake up. There was no sign of recovery. After half an hour, the doctor shook his head and covered Weirdoo with a purple cloth. Red Hair was real desperate, to see his best clone pal depart so prematurely. The doctor and Zook left the glass encasement. Red Hair refused to believe Weirdoo was dead. He lifted up the cloth and spoke to Weidoo softly into his two tiny holes / ears. And he sang Weirdoo’s favourite song:

Died last night in my dreams
    Walking the streets
    Of some old ghost town
    I tried to believe
    In God and James Dean
    But Hollywood sold out
    Saw all of the saints
    Lock up the gates
    I could not enter
    Walked into the flames
    Called out your name
    But there was no answer
And now I know my heart is a ghost town
My heart is a ghost town
My heart is a ghost town
My heart is a ghost town…

Red Hair was in tears, as there was no sign of life from Weirdoo, looking bleached white. Red Hair continued singing; he felt his human voice could send electrical impulses to Weirdoo’s brain.
And then…Red Hair saw a twitch on Weirdoo’s eyelid, followed by more twitches. His alien pal finally opened his eyes and smiled at Red Hair as if he had just returned from a far-off galaxy in deep outer space.
