Look who Kim and Nika found at the bar!!!!

Join DJ Nika and Juneau to analyze, discuss and celebrate the Tour of the Summer of 2014: Queen + Adam Lambert. There is so much to cover, so we will tackle this monumental opus by spreading out our discussion over three consecutive programs, one each week. This week we will tackle the first third of the set list. Please post in comments below, call in during the show and join the chatroom to share your data points: Where were you seated? What was your view of the stage? How was the sound. What were you able to observe about Adam and Queen in those rare lucid moments when your mind wasn’t lost in a hormonal haze? What did these performances reveal to you about Adam? About you?

Is this program a desperate ploy to stave of post-tour depression and tide us over until Queen + Adam hit the shores of Oceania? Yes, but so what? We will have fun doing it!

For your entertainment, here’s Adam having his way with the violet divan at Mohegan Sun, July 25th!

I went to MSG, Merriweather in Columbia, MD and Atlantic City. All were unique experiences. I was in awe at MSG. Merriweather was an epic rock concert with the most amazing audience. Atlantic City had the best sound and Adams voice was incredible. I am handicapped and was in the front right at MSG, saw Adam up close and personal (which is why I was in awe). At Merriweather I couldn’t see a thing but rocked with the rest of the 99% Queen audience. Atlantic City had an uninstructed view on the second level by the stage, that was my best overall concert experience. A question for Adam, what did you think of the Merriweather audience (Jimmy Cracked Corn lol).

I went to both Mohegan shows and Boston. The audience was wonderful at Mohegan, a more intimate venue than most, concert seating 8000, and the sound was perfect!!!
Boston, meh, Boston fans always feel they are at a sporting event ….

I went to both Las Vegas concerts and Houston. Adam’s voice was amazing. I really like when he interacts with the audience, which he does a lot. He shows such confidence, he owned that stage. One minute he shows all his sex appeal, which he knows he has btw, and the next he is full of excitement and doing his cute little antics, which I adore. These by far were the best and most exciting concerts I have ever been to. Adam will always have me as a loving and devoted fan. I wish only the best for him, and hope all of his dreams come true. He has paid his dues and deserves this.

Just read Lauriellenw’s blog about Merriweather concert. It’s very entertaining, well written, and she gets in enough sexy stuff to whet the appetite even more. (At least read the part about her getting hit with the champagne Adam spewed out!) Thanks, Lauriellen!

Thanks for reading. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I still haven’t washed my shirt yet as I don’t know what to do with it yet. 😉
