Adam Lambert, ‘If I Had You’
The Season Eight runner-up – aptly nicknamed Glambert – deserves props for avoiding the mid-tempo trappings most Idol alums fall victim to. This dazzling 2010 dance-pop track was co-written and co-produced by mega-hitmakers Max Martin and Shellback, and the video features cameos by Ke$ha and Season Eight’s Allison Iraheta. Lambert has since become the first openly gay artist to have an album debut at Number One (2012’s Trespassing) and has also served as the occasional frontman for Queen.
ET -Exclusive: ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Returns! (VIDEO) “RuPaul’s Drag Race is returning with its highly anticipated sixth season, and this time around, it’s set to be a star-studded affair.” Check out the video! Adam is going to be a judge on the show this season!
HuffPost – ‘Glee’ Is Moving Entirely To New York City, Leaving McKinley High School Behind “”For this season, there will be a graduation, several of the cast members will move on and a few others will go to New York,” Reilly said. He explained that characters who didn’t go to New York would be available for special episodes, adding, “The way it’s going to dovetail next season, we’re going to see some familiar faces coming around in some capacity.” As already announced, next season will be the show’s last.”
The two celebs attended a book launch for fashionista George Kotsiopoulos together.
Kelly tweeted out: “I have the hottest date on earth tonight! @adamlambert is taking me to @GeorgeKotsi book launch! #ImALuckyLady.”
Kelly had just broken-up and split from her ex-fiancée Matthew Mosshart last week. Kelly later revealed that there wasn’t a “dramatic story” regarding the bust-up, just that the pair had drifted apart.
But being on the town with Adam raised a few eyebrows for fans of the Fashion Police star.
Meanwhile, Adam himself posted on his Twitter page how much he loves the life he’s been lucky to be granted. “I am living the American Dream!” he posted. “Being an entertainer is owning my own small business. I am so grateful to have earned this right!”
Adam also confirmed to his legions of Glamberts that he’ll be appearing on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” soon.
Whenever we see our celebrity faves doing something normal person-y (playing dress-up with a kid sister, goofing off on Photo Booth, hitting up Taco Bell), our hearts explode in a shower of adorable little flakes! Take this video of Adam Lambert and Kelly Osbourne lip-synching along to Destiny’s Child, for example. Actually, you can’t. We’re taking it. Forever. Bye!
Fine, we’ll share. Anyway, how fun is this clip, which the “Lay Me Down” singer Instagrammed late Monday night? Here are two famous people jamming out to the Y2K classic, “Independent Women Part I,” in the back seat of their car. Sure, they’re being driven around because #StillFamous, but c’mon!
But, is there more to the story?
Adam did caption, “@kellyosbourne and I giving u backseat Destiny’s Child Tea.” And, unless Adam and Kelly actually meant to write “We love Snapple Iced Tea!” and experienced the autocorrect to end all autocorrects, then there’s some truth being spilled. #oolong
Our guess? Kelly probably wants everyone to know that either she’s having a BALL with her independent womanhood following her breakup with Matthew Mosshart over the weekend and/ or that her graffiti date with Justin Bieber was not a date-date.
Either way… THROW YOUR HANDS UP AT MEH-EH-EH!
Winstar Blog – “My first stop was the Adam Lambert concert. I, personally, haven’t followed him much after he was on American Idol, but there was so much hype about his concert on Twitter that I began to have really high expectations. Let me tell you, I was not disappointed! That guy can sure put on a show. I think I lost some of my hearing while I was there, but it was worth it. On a side note, he has some of the most loyal, vivacious fans I’ve ever come across! They helped make the show extra awesome.”
It’s About the Man – Adam Lambert “…This man ever since has enthralled audiences world wide with his unique performances. As a nod to one of his songs from his debut album for you entertainment, he received a Grammy Nomination for whataya want from me. This was followed by a string of other honours, and awards, recently concluded by a win at Huading Music Awards and at the Music Daily Awards of Hungary. His appearance on Glee marked by his rendition of Gaga’s “Marry the Night” accompanying which was a delicious Mad Hatter-ish avatar who names himself Star Child. So powerful was his presence and performance that it left Kurt biting his nails out of Jealousy and us biting ourselves for more. Who would’ve thought that the handsome young bespectacled guy would turn out to have such a fierce alter ego?? He has a way of making us crave for more! Judging by his never ending appearances with Queen, Adam Lambert surely has an element of surprise. Who else knows what gifts he has in store for us in this new year?”
