AdamNYEAdam Lambert treated fans to two memorable shows at the close of 2013, in Biloxi, Mississippi, and at the Winstar World Casino in Oklahoma. Not only did he debut two new live performances – “Lay Me Down” and “Red House” – but he was extraordinarily interactive, loose, goofy and clearly having a great time partying with the crowds. Fans were thrilled that he called out Ella, the young girl who captivated Glamberts with the YouTube of her screaming and leaping around in excitement over receiving concert tickets for Christmas. Knowing that Adam is watching and remembering what fans are tweeting to him…such a priceless feeling!

On this week’s show, we’ll be playing live concert performances from Adam’s New Year’s Eve show and speaking with a parade of lucky fans who attended the Biloxi and Winstar shows, for their eye-witness accounts of all that went down!!

Wondering if my pajama waiving in the parking lot will be told. So funny. Not thinking and a hung over moment. Lol.

I want to shout out to Cheryl Abraham and tell her I am so happy to have met her and all the other glam beats that I’ve seen on websites but never had the opportunity to meet. .

The things we do just to try to get a glimpse of Adam sometime. Lol. I’m still waiting. Not the first crazy thing probably not the last. Adam brings hope to the world through not only his music but inner peace and love. Thank you Adam.

Can’t wait to hear all about the Adam experiences, especially Bellina with Ella and Donna. I was brought to tears of joy when I saw Ella’s video. I could only imagine what my boys would do.

Paula, I love your “Wear the Music” pendants. They are such a beautiful creation.

Agnes arantz, me too. Who wouldn’t do something crazy just to get Adam’s attention. Your cray cray just shows your love for our Glam Star.

Funny thing is the nye you spend hours getting ready just in case and then when you least expect it. I saw Brian walk by me and my mind was in triple time figuring Adam has to be around somewhere. Lol. So I didn’t want to wast time by going and getting dressed. 🙂 🙂

      Thank you!
Did I meet either you, Glamluvhns, or Agnes Arantz at Winstar? I don’t know these screen names…

Unlike u Glamberts I was unfortunate to go. I soooo hoped to go to Winstar, especially since I had the time off. Of course I would’ve had to bring my lil guys, Glamberts as well, 1 or both daughters, my husband, n maybe my mom or sister. Yes that’s rights…. a family affair. LOL. Yet again I would really have liked to go on my own too. We’ve been to 2 of Adam’s concerts, Miami n Orlando. We’ve never met him, although I touched his left arm as he was rushed away in Miami. Still yet to feel his arms wrapped around me n maybe a pic with him too. It would be nice to have the ability to go as often as I liked.

I went CUCKOO when I heard that Adam Lambert would be performing at WinStar World Casino on New Years Eve! As I drooled wishing that I could somehow go, I realized that the venue was close to where my husband’s family live! What could be better than to spend the holidays with FAMILY and GLAMILY! I pondered day and night…NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES…as to how I might convince “Santa Claus” (my husband) to make sure that I get to this concert! After all, I’ve only met Adam twice (felt his warm hug and embrace) and I’ve only seen him perform seven times…not nearly enough but I must to work to support my Adam Addiction! Like a whirlwind my mind went RUNNIN and then I had a KICKIN IN idea! I contacted my sister in law who knows that I LOVE and ADORE Adam Lambert! She said that she and her family would be thrilled to have us saying; “You know that our house is your house”! We discussed dates and she offered discounted flight passes since she and her husband work for the airlines! Now it was time to tell “Santa” what I want…what I NEEDED for Christmas! HO HO HO! I prepared a lovely dinner and over a glass of wine I mentioned that its been a while since we visited his family in Texas. I reminded him that his mom is getting up in her years and how “important” it is that he sees her!
(Adam would agree whole heartedly) I told my husband, who refers to himself as an “Adam Lambert/Glambert Widower” that his mom, sister, brothers and their families miss us and want to see us again! When I told him that I had recently spoken with his sister and that she “invited” us to come to Dallas to visit over the holidays, he said in monotone voice: “Let me guess…Adam Lambert is gonna be there…” and I replied; WHATAYA WANT FROM ME? I reminded him that I was about to celebrate my 58th birthday and that everyone is “partied out” by the time MY birthday rolls around on December 28th! I explained that our past 31 years New Years Eves have been quiet, low key and “uneventful”. I reminded “Santa Claus” that every New Years Eve I prepare a fresh shrimp tray and open a bottle of wine and then he falls asleep before midnight in his recliner watching “How Pencils and Crayons Are Made” It is TRUE! I told him now that our four children are grown and we are grandparents it is time to POP THAT LOCK, STRUT and PARTY ‘TIL THEY TAKE US AWAY…and that’s just what we did! Upon arriving at the enormous, majestic casino I gave my husband a black “Glam” Top Hat decorated with mini lights that blinked and the words HAPPY NEW YEAR on it! He was NOT going to put “that thing” but Adam’s AURA and ENERGY drew him in and he actually wore it! He loved the attention he got from Adam’s fans! Thanks Glamily! My husband wore his glowing top hat all night long and in the “ManBert” group photo at the MIST lounge where we joined other Glamberts in the pre/post party! There are no words…it is simply impossible to describe Adam’s performance and CHARISMA that night! Adam generated so much LOVE, ENERGY, AURA, HOTNESS and HUMOR and at the same time he gave us SEXY, SASSY and SHADY !! How does one man make us MELT, LAUGH and give us FEVER all within a half heartbeat!? HONEY, ARE U UP THERE? I am still UP THERE IN THE AIR WHERE THE CLOUDS LIVE and my heart is SOAKED with
ADAM LAMBERT! I will never forget New Years Eve 2013…NIRVANA!

I was there with Kickin Kim and her husband Jeff. I flew into Dallas from Ft. Lauderdale and they picked me up at the hotel and off we went to see Adam!!! The concert was ADAMAZING!! Kim had all the words right in describing the concert–I could NOT have said it any better. This was also my Christmas/birthday as my birthday is this coming Monday the 13th. It was such an AWESOME event, being at the pre party was a blast. Meeting other Glamberts and mingling was really fun. I got to meet Paula Long who I have ordered several pieces from and I just ordered the new one like she gave Adam. The whole experience was HEAVEN–being here to see Adam was just incredible!!!! And I look forward to MORE concerts by my Rock God!!!!!!

I have loved Adam since A I. NYE was the first time that I have seen him live. The anticipation that I had for months was beyond excitiing. Then I was there. After putting on my badge, I entered the Glambert world. What a wonderful group of people. They are all huggers. Time for the concert. He was beyond gorgeous and awesome in his performance. I knew all the words and sang all the songs.I danced, jumped and waved my glow sticks. My husband kept looking at me like (who is this wild woman). This was the best group and concert experience I have ever had. It will always be very special for me.

My daughter and I went to Biloxi. The tickets were a gift from my husband for Christmas. I was so excited to get them. Adam and most of his group arrived Saturday night and we missed seeing them check in by about 20 min. Instead we had gone to check out the venue by buying tickets to see the person who was performing the night before. What a mistake..the person was awful walked out after 15 min but we got to see where Adam would be the next night. If we had only stayed at the Hard Rock Café like by daughter wanted to …she loved the hard rock music…we would have seen him arrive. However later that night we did see Tommy, Ashley, Rick, Brian and Rob. I got my picture with Tommy and Ashley. They were both so very nice and so beautiful. We had general admission tickets which meant we would be standing for the 90 min concert plus as it turned we were let in the theater about 10min early and Adam came on about 20 min late.. We got in line before the concert about 2 the doors were to open at 6:30 and show was to start at 8:00. A very nice person named Becky was handing out stickers with numbers on them to help keep order in the line. We were number 55 and 56. This was not connected with the hotel venue and was up to people in line if they wanted to participate. …actually there were people ahead of us that did not have a number. When the doors opened we rushed in and we were about 3 people from the stage in the center. After about 30 min of standing and feeling like a sardine I started feeling my years and bladder(lol) about this time a very nice person was asking if someone would like her seated balcony tickets since she was going to stand instead. l did hesitate for a minute but thought better do it than end up not getting to see Adam at all. The seats were awesome…so thankful for them..and the bathroom was close and the drink girl was great. But Adam was beyond words wonderful. He never stopped performing and entertaining for the whole time. He sounded incredible and looked amazing. When it was over some people stayed to get the set lists. While we were waiting for the show to start after we went to the balcony my daughter went to the bathroom about 5 min before 8 and came back saying she had seen Adam for a few seconds through a crack in some doors going to a hallway..she reported he was wearing a plaid shirt. We had such a good time and met some amazing people while waiting in line . I hope Adam’s next concert is near so we can go again…we drove 500 miles from NE Florida to see him…I just loved seeing him live for the second time…saw him at Universal Orlando..fabulous there too. Note: I have been to three concerts in my life and two of them were for Adam Lambert…the other one was for the New Christy Minstrels and if you remember them you are as old as I am.

    • January 9, 2014 11:59 am

LOL, Yes, I remember the New Christy Minstrels 😉
Thanks for your recap, Our boy Adam is truly one in a million and aren’t we lucky that we “get it”, i just wish the whole world would …. but then we wouldn’t get these intimate concerts. So, enjoy them while we can!!!!

NO, I didn’t get there, and I’m massively envious! Did any or all of you read this wonderful, hilarious, passionate rant by a woman who was at Winstar? Here’s the URL —
