Huffington Post – Bonnie McKee’s ‘American Girl’ Video Includes Every Famous Person, Ever “Bonnie McKee’s “American Girl” video landed online Wednesday, and it includes every famous person ever. No, really: Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Kathy Griffin, Macklemore, Joan Rivers, Karmin, George Takei, Adam Lambert, Carly Rae Jepsen, Jenny McCarthy, KISS, Jason Derulo, Jewel, Tommy Lee, Sirah, Taio Cruz, Jane Lynch, and more familiar faces make cameos — all singing along to McKee’s boppy track.”

Popcrush – BONNIE MCKEE’S FAMOUS FRIENDS KATY PERRY, ADAM LAMBERT + MORE LIP-SYNC IN ‘AMERICAN GIRL’ VIDEO “Bonnie McKee has a lot of famous friends, and she put ‘em to work in her video for her new single ‘American Girl.’ The songwriter, who is branching out as an artist on her own, recruited her pals to lip-sync her track. She has penned some major songs for many a pop star (like Katy Perry‘s ‘Teenage Dream’ and ‘California Gurls,’ Britney Spears’ ‘Hold It Against Me’ and Taio Cruz’s ‘Dynamite’), so it’s only right that they return the favor. Perry and her teddy bear appear, while Adam Lambert gets sassy and Macklemore does his thing while clothed and in a tub.

The above video of Adam singing A Change Is Gonna Come is iconic! One of his best performances ever. This man is so phenominal….words just cannot express his talent. I love him sooooo much. And my husband understands completely!

His expressions in Bonnie McKee video are just too funny.

THIS is one of the ways Adam will change the way we listen to and buy music. It was always one of my predictions that Adam would write a song for charity (probably LGBT related) that would become like the “We Are The World” song. Here he is “between” records and making more news than ever.

I hadn’t seen that performance of “Change Is Gonna Come” in years, but I appreciate it even more now–for its message and that performance is extraordinary even when he’s gasping for breath. Totally in the moment, so deeply felt. And I love the ANGER. We don’t often see that in Adam. Wow.
