Examiner – Adam Lambert reaches Twitter milestone, exceeds two million followers “Adam had a huge boost in followers after last week’s American Idol segment showing what he has been up to for the past few years. Additionally, he was honored with two awards last weekend at the GLAAD Media Awards, which made headlines, probably prompting more follows from the LGBT community. One reason he doesn’t lose many followers is because he remains active on Twitter, sharing his favorite new music finds, and updating fans of his whereabouts and opinions.”

Baltimore Sun – ‘American Idol,’ can Twitter popularity predict the winner? “But what’s the Idol crown worth these days compared to the national exposure? Take Chris Daughtry and Adam Lambert. They’re weren’t the ones showered in confetti on the show’s stage, but they catapulted into superstardom. Angie will surely meet a similar fate.”
The Daily Beast – MEN IN MAKEUP THROUGHOUT TIME (PHOTOS) Adam at #13! “It’s a rare occasion when Adam Lambert isn’twearing makeup. On and offstage, the American Idol runner-up can be seen with glittery, smoky eyelids, foundation and concealer on his face, and nail polish on his fingertips. In an interview with gay and lesbian news magazine The Advocate, Lambert bluntly defended his use of makeup: “I’m wearing eight pounds of makeup because I f**king want to. Why not?” he said.”

Kicking off his week with a trip to the movies, Adam Lambert took in a screening of “The Great Gatsby” in Hollywood last night (May 13).
