People Magazine – Surprising Celeb BFFs – “ANNA & ADAM: Kendrick and Lambert actually became friends as teenagers, before hitting it big. In a 2010 interview with Ryan Seacrest, Kendrick recalled seeing her pal at a party the year before. “He told me, ‘You can’t tell anybody but I tried out for American Idol and I got through Hollywood Week,'” she said. “I was like, ‘Okay! You can’t tell anybody but I just booked this movie [Up in the Air] with George Clooney!'” A year after that, they met up and “were like, you know, it’s been quite a year for both of us,” the actress said.”

Pressparty: Adam Lambert ADAM LAMBERT: ‘I still feel like an outsider in the music industry’ – “The ‘Never Close Our Eyes’ hitmaker also admitted that while he’s thrilled at his commercial success, he would rather measure it in ‘happiness’ than celebrity status: “Success is relative − I may have my career highs and lows, but all of it is an amazing step up from where I was five years ago. I am my own boss and I get to do what I love as a career. I feel very fortunate and I plan to keep measuring success in the happiness I get to share with my family, friends and fans.””

I loved the Michael Sarver interview, but, honestly, Anoop’s music did nothing for me and the interview was boring. Guess you can’t please everyone, but that show and Anoop’s music was *yawn.* Since you’ve been talking to past Season 8 finalists, maybe you can get Allison on, Adam’s been promoting her Halo concert and that girl would be an amazing interview. Her career didn’t really take off like people thought it would and I would love to see her get more exposure.

Totally agree with Kathie S. Allison and Adam are really close friends. That should make a really good show, and Allison is so down to earth, just like Adam!

The ‘NCOE hitmaker’ – lol! My definition of him, precisely. Or is it? Success is relative, and music is shifting back to emotion… Phew. At least that’s finally grasped now. Though I really can’t fathom what was going on with him, because all his interviews said the same thing. And yet, and yet… something is very changed in these declarations. Not that I expect anyone to understand these subtleties.
And so, the question about zero-point energy (“joy”) remains. I listened to a lot of music about emotion, from the old singers and bands. It’s fantastic music – but when I looked to find who they were talking about, no-one was ever in the same space as their joy. Not like the NCOE hitmaker.

Where is NCOE a hit? Lol, certainly not around here. No-one knows who he is around here – but there’s still a lot of people who care. Sometimes, Shady comes on at the mall. There’s a fan behind the music programming, somewhere. It gives me a jolt of joy. Where all other singers say “party” because they think it will appeal to lots of people, Adam says “party” and you know it’s true. “Party”. Hm. I believed it to be possible. Now I’ve just spent a week not eating much of anything, and having trouble getting out of bed. Music again? Not likely. First have to go back to eating.
Maybe it’s a hit in Finland, where I’ve just returned from. I was in a bar and there was “Euphoria” and also, people were dancing much livelier whenever Adam’s music was on. Somebody’s friend’s friend put it on. Why were we in Finland at all? It’s just got something like 5 million people. Is that a career high or low? Please explain. I personally love the language. It’s beautiful, like music. The language of the Ancient Tribe.
