Map Adam’s Blonde Ambition Lambert has surfaced in Tokyo to shock with his new look. Adam Lambert hit the stage at the 2012 United States of Odaiba concert held at the Fuji Television Festival Fairgrounds yesterday in Tokyo, and gave us some serious gray-blond realness. Yes, the 30-year-old hitmaker is going through his blonde ambition and is Trespassing all those boundaries about eyebrow/hair matching.

Yum! Yum! The blonde locks have definitely started doing their “voodoo” on me. Adam is beyond the eye candy category. I still find myself wondering what has happened to me since the first time I saw him on AI. I love everything about Adam Lambert.

I’ve been trying to get little man to play this opening of shady for me since Nile tweeted it so far no luck

So somebody did a good job of getting Pop That Lock some visibility (though nothing like Phillip Phillips’ Home on the Olympics). Yay! Pop That Lock and Chokehold have been my favorite songs on the album for a while now (with Shady a close third) though I enjoy most of the dance songs. What a lift that fun piece of fluff Naked Love is. Pure joy. I find PTL and Chokehold more interesting both lyrically and musically than most of the songs, but they’re also damn sexy. I keep saying it, but NCOE is just not sexy (though Adam’s made it more so live). Guess if I got a vote on the next single, I’d pick Pop That Lock.

Cuckoo or Trespassing might be better choices commercially, though, for the next release than PTL. I think Trespassing’s the better song and I like it. I’ve seen it go over well with younger people (also, with my not-so-young husband who’s super witholding with his music praise), but Cuckoo’s fun and I can imagine it better on the radio.

I think that Cuckoo would be the perfect next single in the USA. It’s a little bit like other songs on the radio, but still has that unique Adamness. I think Naked Love would work too. Rosemary is right that NCOE isn’t sexy. I think songs about partying and sex are the best for US radio.I adore Shady, and maybe they would play it if he had another hit on the radio first.
        Damn Corporate FM!!!!!!!!

I agree with IsabelR that Shady might have a chance if he can get a hit from another song first. Same for Pop That Lock and Chokehold. I don’t know a lot about commercial music, but kind of a gut feeling after buckling down recently and trying to get a sense of what’s popular on the radio right now.
