Adam Lambert Daily Update – April 20, 2012
A NOTE FROM THEA
The last episode of “The Starlight Trilogy” was posted last night. Want a surprise ending and a good, happy cry? This one is it!
Thanks so much to the Readers who have “opened” the “Trilogy” over 5,000 times. Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. And for those who haven’t read it yet, don’t worry, you can start it at any time. We’ll keep the Table of Contents up on the page through the end of the month. After that you’ll be able to easily find it under the category “The Starlight Trilogy” on the right-hand column of any Juneau/Xena post.
Speaking of which, a HUGE “Thank You” to Juneau and Xena for letting me post it here. And another thank you to you Really Loyal Readers out there who would read each episode in the first 10 minutes after it was posted. Sometimes you were there before I could even update the “Table of Contents”! You were a great inspiration, more than you know. And I’d love to read any comments you have about what you liked and what you didn’t. Just put them under “Comments” at the bottom of the last post.
And here’s a “Trilogy” snippet for you–yes, there is a sequel in the writing! It’ll have our boys Lover and the Rock Star, Starlight (of course, still flitting around), the kids AND yes, the TWO bad guys are still around, too. Stay tuned for the sequel probably sometime late summerish!?!
Thanks again, everyone. You’ve made me a better writer … and a very happy novelist.

Buzznet – Adam Lambert’s BRAND NEW SINGLE “Never Close Our Eyes” “I can tell it’s a surefire smash hit. Of course as per usual his voice sends the track into infinity and beyond, for one. Number two, the song, which was written by Bruno Mars and produced by Dr. Luke, has every ingredient for radio love.”
PopDust – Adam Lambert on the making of “Trespassing” and the importance of a good cry Some highlights: “Q. How much of the album is auto-tuned? A. I only use it here and there to enhance. I definitely don’t use it as much as some people. Q. Do you have a favorite button on the mixing board? A. I don’t know what the buttons do! [Laughs] But I like delay on my vocals, I like when vocals are echoey…When I used to go to karaoke I used to sing “Tell Me Something Good” by Rufus. I used to lovesinging that song. The other one I would do is “I Can’t Make You Love Me” by Bonnie Raitt. And “Open Arms” by Journey, of course.””
Beatweek – Meat Loaf’s world goes to Hell in a Handbasket “I want to use my Adam Lambert voice. I don’t have my Adam Lambert voice. I never did have my Adam Lambert voice, it’s just what I want to have. That’s funny. That makes me laugh. Adam Lambert, by the way, is possibly one of the three greatest singers in the entire world. I link him with Aretha, Whitney, and Adam Lambert. I couldn’t touch those three with a ten foot, or hundred foot, pole…”
Reality Rocks – Exclusive! Queen Set To Return To ‘American Idol’ Stage “Adam Lambert, who will be filling in for the late Freddie Mercury this summer at several overseas Queen gigs—isn’t set to guest with Queen next week (he’ll actually be performing on “Jimmy Kimmel” next Thursday). But that doesn’tmean all you Glamberts shouldn’t set your DVRs. Wednesday’s show should still feature some killer Queenliness…”
