Last night, we had a special show with guest Michael Wood for a track-by-track discussion of “Trespassing”. Here’s the podcast. Michael is a music industry veteran and votes for the Grammy awards, so it was fun to get his read on Adam’s new music.

Tonight (10-11PM EST), we have a great show featuring Ken Caillat, who just published a memoir about the making of Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours”. Ken co-produced that landmark album, rated by Rolling Stone as the #25 greatest album of all time, along with albums for his daughter Colbie Caillat, a Grammy-winning artist in her own right. Check out this promo video for Ken’s book, and join us tonight!

Adam threw a Twitter party before dinner last night. He said ‘Trespassing’ would be available in vinyl, and that ‘Underneath’ was a “beast” to sing. Here’s the transcript.

Posted by @LAMBERTLUST. Worldwide trend.

PRESS AND BLOG PICKS – The Blue Note Tokyo “In the 14 hours I spent up in the air, Adam Lambert’s team launched audio clips of his upcoming album, including the track I did with him and Sam Sparro, “Shady.” The response is fantastic. Just wait ’til you hear the whole thing!”

NewNowNext – A Letter to Adam Lambert’s New Single From the can’t win ’em all dept: “…you bury your sound under sixty five layers of electronic fuzz. It’s like A-Lamb is singing from the bottom of a well, and that well is in a late-night club. I can hear the beats and the echoes, but I have to strain to hear the song.  That’s what happens on Britney Spears tracks like “I Wanna Go,” but I don’t mind because Britney’s not much of a singer. At this point, she’s just a famous name whose processed vocals are an excuse to  dance. But with Adam Lambert, burying the vocal is practically a sin.

PopCrush – ADAM LAMBERT RELEASES SNIPPETS OF REMAINING ‘TRESPASSING’ TRACKS “‘Shady’ sounds like Maroon 5 with more edge, while ‘Kickin’ In’ is an ode to a night out — and the booze and questionable decisions that comes with it. While ‘Naked Love’ has sexy lyrics, it’s still pure radio-friendly pop with a soaring chorus and head-bopping beat. ‘Pop That Lock’ is a dance floor anthem that may have other metaphorical meanings behind the whole “lock and key” theme, if you know what we mean.”

Gather – Adam Lambert’s New Single and ‘Trespassing’ Hit #1 in Finland “Adam Lambert’s new single and upcoming album are now available on iTunes and they have already topped the sales charts in Finland. “Never Close Our Eyes” is the #1 single, beating out Finnish artists, as well as Jennifer Lopez and Gotye. In addition, Adam’s album Trespassing, although still only available for pre-sale, holds the #1 spot for albums above even Adele and Madonna.”
