PRESS AND BLOG PICKS
Just Jared – Adam Lambert Covers ‘Fault Magazine’ Spring 2012 “On things his fans don’t know about him:“I’m a crazy hedonistic rebel who wants to liberate the masses. There are songs on the album that embrace my rock n roll spirit and my love of club culture. Yet, underneath it all I’m not always as strong and confident as I may seem. I work hard to project pride and poise when faced with judgement and heartache. That is how I cope.”
Sugarscape – Amazing New Adam Lambert Pictures Fault Magazine “When you get inside the magazine, Adam’s hair is presented on maybe the most epic scale we’ve ever seen it, which still doesn’t distract from the gorgeous puppy he’s moodily snuggling up to in his sexy Fagan-from-Oliver-Twist-gloves.”
Confessions of a Ticket Scalper: Billboard’s Candid Q&A “It’s out of control these days. I’ve been in this game since it was invented. I made my money, and this business is on the downside for me now. One of these days [brokers] are going to piss off the wrong people in the prosecutor’s office and they’re going to go after them criminally and make it stick.”
HEART OF PURE GOLD
Adam visits Jasmine at Boston Children’s Hospital
Posted by Sonia Bennett today, from Adam’s visit on August 20, 2010
Here’s Juneau’s Reflection from that visit:
Just visited Children’s Hospital in Boston. Good reminder to appreciate life’s value. Those kids have such incredible spirits in the face of illness. I’m inspired.
I don’t know why Adam’s tweet about visiting Children’s Hospital of Boston has affected me so deeply. I’m haunted by the thought of what he was seeing and feeling there, and am feeling weirdly connected because I’ve been to CHB so many times. Last time, it was to visit a brave two-year-old girl and her two dads at the cancer ward… And then Adam’s tweet later that day: “Another circus, another show! I think I’m going a wee bit crazy – as many touring artists do. It’s a good crazy though. Gonna start writing some tunes w this sacred lack of reality giving me new perspective.” I can’t help but wonder if he was reacting to the emotions stirred by being among real, everyday heroes, the doctors, nurses and above all, the kids. Adam, you have a huge heart and rare talent with the power to move millions. One reason I have been so captivated and find myself (still to my daily amazement) following your every move is that, early as it still is in your career, you have the spirit and intelligence to take your gifts and change the world – just by not being afraid to be you.
