Book Blitz for Adam Lambert’s charity:water

February 4, 2011

We can’t think of a more fitting way to wish Adam a Happy Valentine’s Day than to reach the $290,000 target for charity:water. From now until midnight February 14th, we’ll donate 25 percent of the proceeds from the sale of our book On the Meaning of Adam Lambert, faux tattoos and Eye of Horus bumper decals to this great organization. Order here.

Rich with serious study, dramatic anecdotes, emotional personal confessions and off-the-wall campy fantasies, our book pays tribute to Adam and chronicles our journey of self-discovery, budding friendship and exploration of what our folie has revealed to us about love and life.

Here’s what readers have said about the book:

Ate it up. It’s brilliant, hilarious, maybe profound.Wesley Strick

“The writing is brilliant… an amazingly clear, intelligent and incisive way of expressing things, and the honesty is captivating.  There’s something very personal and inviting about it.” – Aaron Heick

“Dear Juneau and Xena, I received the book a couple days ago and I absolutely LOVE it! p.s. i’m 14- haha but I still do really enjoy it. I now know that my mom’s and my obsession with Adam is somewhat normal and it’s okay to be different. thank you for putting together such an amazing book!” – Alexandra

Our book has even been the subject of controversy and threats of burning! If you want the full gory details, here they are: Slings and Arrows of a Risky Business.

I asked my hubby if I could have your book and tattoos along with Adam’s Live DVD for my birthday and he was ever so happy to oblige! I’m thrilled to say I just ordered everything and am glad to participate this way with your fundraising for Charity: Water! xoxoxo
