Juneau & Xena’s Glam Caravan on the Glitter Covered Road

August 15, 2010
Join us as we navigate the roads and highways of Rhode Island, Long Island and Massachusets to meet as many members of the Glam Nation as we can!

We are hitting the road on our Glam Caravan to see  a couple of Glam Nation concerts this week!  Next to enjoying performances by Adam and his supremely talented band and dancers, we are looking forward to meeting as many fans of the Glam Nation Tour as we can!

We can’t wait to tell you about our exciting new project and it involves as many of you as we can meet.

Tuesday 17thLupo’s Heartbreak Hotel Providence RI – waiting for the doors to open  we’ll be sidewalk bound hoping for a good spot inside with our GA tickets.  We are praying to Goldilocks to provide us with weather that is not too cold, not too hot, seats that are not too  hard, not too soft and lots of friends!  Saving the dancing shoes for post-show celebrations.

Wednesday 18th – Long Island – to tape an interview with 106.1 BLI

Thursday 19th –  Cape Cod Melody Tent, Hyannis MA – 5:00 Glamfest Dinner @ The Paddock Restaurant – then shakin’ it up at Melody Tent!

Alas, we have no identifiable photos of us taken with anyone associated with the Glam Nation Tour as so many of you do.  But that’s fine, we love to live vicariously through our friends’ warm encounters and commemorative photos with smiling Adam and the members of the entire entourage.

Follow us on @adamlambertbook @juneauxena @xenaPW for regular updates

Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that the Glittery Glamorcade in my corner of the universe has been crossing the continent for weeks now (or since 6/17 that is…)! I have been so enjoying your book, and am now inspired to re-touch my old tattos and add som Glam-related embellishment…
I would LOVE to meet up with you two on the Eternal GlamNation Highways…How can we make that happen?
On July 5th, I launched the first (and only) Red Hat Society Chapter called The Glam Tramps …”Glitzy Grannies Glittering GlamNation’s Highways in pursuit of the quintessential Adam Lambert”. This is a whimsical and unorthodox way of joining in on the delight of the Red Hat Society, for those of us who prefer the road less travelled. To date, however, I have enthusiastically travelled many roads, flailing and singing my way through several states and 9 concerts, meeting and talking with almost all the band members & dancers. I have been so blessed to have met and talked with Adam as well. What a delightful person to know. My singular wish is that this brilliant artist with such a big heart and generous soul will remain as beautiful and abundantly open as he is today. It is so sad when artists are quickly launched into the spotlight and the bright lights, then suddenly experience overwhelming confusion and lose their way–somehow I don’t see that happening to Adam, but time will tell.
Like you, I have wanted to meet fellow Glamberts and have been happy to have met soooo many wonderful people, some of whom have opened up their homes and hearts to me as I go!
Sadly I will not be at the three concerts you mention but AM going to Raleigh Indy, Evansville, Peoria, Tunica, NOLA, Hotlanta (both days) and Hollywood FL. Looking into Roanoake, Richmond, Rockport, Covington, , Des Moines, Dallas, Thackerville, Dallas, and/or Houston. The GA ones are less attractive to me–have braved a few already and they are brutal unless you don’t mind being far from the stage 🙂
Please get in touch when you can…looking forward to Eternal GlamNation, but wonder whatever shall I do when the Tour is finished?

    Hi Juneau and Xena,
Well It is almost finally here. Cape Cod Melody Tent!!! I have been very good at not watching all the videos of the concerts this summer though I have feasted most gratefully on all the interviews and pictures. I can’t wait !!! Both my sons are also excited (In their low key, wouldn’t be caught dead squealing, kind of way) to be going to the concert with me and as they are 22 and 24 that is quite something! I am not sure we will be at the dinner but I will try to make contact at some point. As this is our only vacation this year we are planning on a little sightseeing, and may go to Salem Ma at some point, probably Friday on our way home. We all love the fun little mystical shops there and haven’t been for several years.
I have to say that the Glam Nation Tour has certainly enlivened this spring and summer for me. Thank you to the powers that be for Adam Lambert. I was half asleep and didn’t even realize it before I became aware of him and his fantastic talent, voice, voice, voice, and his ability to be polite and gracious in all situations. His honestly. openness, and comfortableness with himself are an inspiration to both me and my sons. He has such an impact on, and changes so many people for the better. I wonder if he knows this?
I really love the For Your Entertainment CD. So much of the music on it makes me want to dance and feel alive!!! Aftermath and Sleepwalker have helped me make significant changes in my life. I don’t think the lyrics on these are light as they express so much feeling.( You can tell that these lyrics are something he believes in) I can’t wait to hear all of them live.
I am sorry to miss the Concord NH concert, that would have been so much closer than Cape Cod, but I missed the boat on that one. Maybe next year, next CD?
    oh well enough rambling,
I hope to see you there.
    Love to you all,
    Karatook

    (a.k.a.Jane Christofori on WOWOWOW)

Wish it were the South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset, MA instead of the Cape Cod Melody Tent – I would have made a point of finding you to say hello.

We wish we could do so many more of the concerts, but it’s just not possible for us. We are looking forward to years of attending Adam’s performances, whatever and wherever they may be. Let’s hope for next time!

Diva Lu, what a wonderful time you must be having traveling around to Adam’s concerts. Tomorrow night will by my first. I have tried not to watch too many videos, but when they changed the encore to TCB I just had to watch. I have seen so many of the pictures. I am getting just too excited.

I wish I knew more fans. My small college town is a bit too serious to embrace the love and fun!! Maybe as time passes more and more will see the “Adam light”.

I’ve got my glow sticks, ear plugs, tickets and glitter. Ready to GO! See you there.

Your plans include any of the Hawaii concerts? A group of our ‘glamsistahs’ are planning a special Hawaiian Aloha when he arrives in October. We may choreograph a special hula to one his songs..that should be a first.
