Homecoming for our Muse

April 1, 2010

A shooting star creases the night sky as it arcs home,
leaving stardust in its wake.
Welcome home after stealing hearts everywhere you touched down
Your new fans have become our new friends as you connect us
around the world in one big party tent. Thank you

Love, Xena

We watched enthralled
Your sparkling progress across continents.
Dazed and bedazzled by twittered glimpses of twitpic’d glitter
Your flocks of fans fanned out globally
Spreading a cybernet to capture every delicious morsel
To feed our hunger.
Soothed by YouTubed songs looping as we dream
Our hearts soar in the knowledge
That you are winging your way home
To the solid earth we share.

Love, Juneau

Licentia poetica + HOT dog = “dog-in-bun”. Y’know! Plus the rhyming dictionary indicated “bun” as being good with “gun”. 😉 Occasionally, these things take on more implication than origianlly intended. That one was entirely innocent, I promise!

I loved “dog-in-bun” which is why I quoted it! We take our licentia poetica seriously on this site and stretch it pretty far ourselves.

    Xena and Juneau,

Adam really has made it, if he has you lovely, aristocratic ladies writing poetry for him. I love the poems, and loved the sentiment behind them. Who would have thought that we all would be so happy about Adam returning to North America? And how much we missed him when he was gone. After all, considering how we get our news of him, it really shouldn’t matter if he is on the same continent or not , should it? But it does. It matters the same way it does when I walk past a theater, even just a community theater. I feel close to him. Having him home just feels better, even though it was great to watch him conquer the world.

Isabel ~ It does feel better having him home. Not sure why. He might as well be on Mars, really. But yet, yes, nice.

Thanks for sharing the positive of his every move. It is so empowering to be a part of something so positive and I know a lot of people this has uplifted and it has given them a new hope. Adam is wise beyond his years; I really don’t think he understands the effect he has on others. Wow!! I am so glad he is home now..the earthquakes are following him though because of that powerful hold he has on his fans!
