Love the blonde hair and the twitter craziness around it. I see this as temporary what with the Trespassing promo still going on. but with Lambies, you never know!
The new look is getting a lot of attention:

Does anyone else think that he looks like Billy Idol?
Yes, definitely! The 80′s are back!!!
It’s going to take me a while to get used to this blond hair… LOL. Gotta see it in concert.
Check out this Pinterest of the 6 Queen + Adam shows. I’ve never heard of Pinterest. Great idea:

Fun to see this. I was invited to start a Pinterest account a few months ago and was tempted, but then my social network would see the true depth of my obsession…! – J
LOL, true depth of our obsession! Very few people know the true depth of my obsession (you guys) and I’m happy to keep it that way.
Yes Juneau, most of us still have one foot in the closet! I don’t really like it, but, yeah, I think it’s the depth of the obsession that I feel a need to cloak. And when I think about it, I’m not really that interested in in-depth knowledge of other people’s obsessions (except Adam of course)!
Buffy,
I only have one foot sticking OUT of the closet! But my family and friends think it should be less than one toenail. The pinkie one.
J.,
That’s the reason I don’t have a Pinterest account. I also do not need another internet obsession. You and Xena, Gloria’s blog, and Facebook are about all I can handle!
Aren’t you on Twitter? I would imagine that my obsession takes up at least
2 hours of every day and I don’t even read most of the interviews. I can’t remember what I did with my time before Adam.
NS,
I just have to see an action picture with the blonde hair before I decide about it. I can’t really tell from a still.
If he is going to dye his hair any color other than black, I would love to see him with a fiery auburn. (But I know he doesn’t like red hair.) That’s my favorite haircolor in the whole world.
I’m with you there, Isabel. Perhaps we’ll get a glimpse of the hairdo in Japan. Can’t wait!
If I couldn’t go in the closet with all of you the first thing when I wake up, and the last thing before I go to bed, my day would definitely be missing something wonderful. I love the way Adam does what he wants and has such confidence and yet boyish ways about him. His outlook on life has definitely changed me in many happy ways. Has Adam changed any of you in a positive way, since we all discovered him?
Of course he has changed me. I think that’s been part of what keeps the wheel turning. Just listening to his voice, in song or an interview, relaxes me. I sometime think ” what would Adam say/do” (I know that seems corny, but true, when something is bugging me. When I get frustrated about his career or people putting me down about loving him, he comes up with something new and exciting, and it all falls into perspective.
Hi buffy–I just read your post and I think the same way. Or my partner will say to me “what would Adam do”–and your right–it makes you think differently by thinking of what he would do or say. It’s not corny–but it is true!!!! We just LOVE this man!!!!!
I definitely notice that I have been happier since discovering Adam. I have become infinitely more patient. I stand in lines without grumbling, I’m overly talkative at the grocery
store with the baggers and cashiers. I smile a lot more. My extroverted personality has become much more extroverted. I have purchased all sorts of strange tech instruments, some of which I haven’t quite figured out, but at least I have them…Go figure…My music tastes have changed. I never listened to rock and roll and now I can name the band members of Queen to my son’s amazement. So much has changed. I would never have
considered a site like twitter before and now it is the last thing I check at nite. I am getting
less sleep also. I could go on and on. The amazing thing is that I have discovered an online community who I have never met, but I can hardly wait to find out what they have
to say and I am disappointed whenever there isn’t a new post. And that means ALL OF
YOU!!!
gail
I agree with all of you. I think that he has made me a better person. I’m definitely happier and I know that I am less judgmental towards people who are not ‘like me’. AND I have met some of the best people ever through this fandom. Who would have thought really?
Awww Gail. Big smooches to you! xoxo J
ditto to what you’ve all said. I think I’ve opened up more and am not timid or afraid to post online; I’ve made wonderful new friends–heck, even shared rooms with people I have never met before–and strange as it may sound, discovering Adam has even opened me up to putting on makeup LOL. No turning back now….
I’ve missed a few pages here, but has anyone questioned if the blond hair has a hidden message about (American) Idol, if it’s reminding people of Billy Idol. Sort of like the Beatles Abbey Road where Paul has no shoes! Crazy – but Adam never ceases to amaze me. And Billy Idol was British, so maybe he’s impersonating him to sing at the Olympics with Queen. I guess I’m going Cuckoo, but it would be funny if he’s on both the Olympics and Idol.

Is this the one June played on the radio show? I like this.
I think that the combination of following Adam’s impact around the world and meeting you lovely ladies has helped me in terms of courage. I feel braver, and more willing to try new things. I’m not sure I would be on my way to a productive new career if I hadn’t encountered the positive forces that are Adam and the Glambertinae.
I have to tell you that the intelligence and insight and talent I have found in all of you on this site, made me so happy. I thought to myself, if people like you love Adam, then I am totally not that crazy. I think J and X should write another book entitled, “What Adam Lambert Means To Us”!
Rosemary,
That was my feeling too. I suddenly knew wonderful people who shared my craziness for Adam. I found out I had some really brilliant company in my obsession.
This whole Adam thing, and it is much more than just Adam, although he alone would certainly qualify as life enhancer, mood lifter, endorphin kicker, libido booster, expectation shifter, and overall love puppy, has taken an early senior citizen who was beginning to feel the drag of age and kicked her into a shiny new sports car with the top down and hair blowing in the wind.
At a time in life when we are expected to settle down and be appropriately dowdy, something I see everyday in friends who are getting more sleep and wearing sensible shoes so they don’t fall down, and was making me downright grumpy at the start, I agree with Gail … I am getting less sleep because I NEED less sleep because I have friends and news and blogs and tweets and posts and videos and live-streams around the world that must be kept up with and attended to. Instead of my life getting simpler and less complicated so I can ponder life’s end, it is getting exponentially more exciting and enriched! I found an elixer, a fountain of youth… but this Ponce-tina de Leon didn’t discover Florida( God’s waiting room), I found a worldwide Glamily that has brought me into throbbing nightclubs, gay bars, drag queen shows and pyrotechnic arenas, all led by a beautiful young man who, when he tosses a sexy smile and sly glance my way, makes me swear I’ve has a million dollar facelift.
I’m ruined for old age
I’m with you! Who knew that at my age I would find such a fountain of youth? I have a friend younger than me who never listens to anything but oldies and thinks all modern pop is awful. I’ve given up convincing her and just shake my head.
OMG, how many friends think that music stopped with the Beatles, ARG!
well said, el Kat! Bang on.
“I’m ruined for old age.” You said it! – xoxo J

So glad to hear this, but still no air play on the radio as far as I can see. I hope that when the new single comes out, Adam makes sure he gets the same air time as everyone else.
If we only knew the secret to getting that radio play. I’ve been playing a goofy mind game. What if BTIKM was put out by Maroon 5 or NCOE by Bruno, or Katy Perry? Those are good songs and Adam is the best singer out there. If he would have put out a retro song like “Pay phone” or that horror Wide Awake”, do you think radio would play him. I don’t think so. I think it is Adam being stonewalled, not his music. Just grateful that RCA is releasing a third single, when the first two didn’t “take”. I think that is unusual and hopefully they will go 100% this time on supporting it.
And that reminds me. What is with people nagging ADAM personally about the single? Have we no imagination as to what we might tweet directly? It’s fine with me if people want to wank with each other about the single or whatever, but why keep assaulting Adam? He already told us. I was in a meeting when I read his tweets about when the single was coming out. I was like, ” really?”. And then about his make-up? Maybe that goes to a new fan. Okay. But I’m just shaking my head. And, not kidding, two hours later, I get two “retweets” telling Adam they were ready for a new single….in a nagging way. Jeez. Okay, I’m done. Let’s go back to talking about how positive we have become because of Adam. lol
I do the same thing! Every time I hear one of these pop hits I try to picture Adam writing/singing it. They seem so formulaic and simple. It seems like there is a conspiracy against him … I know, we’ve been all over this, yadda, yadda. But I thought for sure the Queen gig would give him a boost, but no, I never hear him on the radio.
Confession- I never thought NCOE would make it, I blame whoever the ef made him put it out as a single, there is nothing special about it, done. But Cuckoo could do it, or Trespassing, please, please \o/
As far as twitter goes, I get an alert every time Adam posts, and the last ones about the make-up and hair made me happy & sad. Sad about the moronic psycho fans who pester him, and happy that he gives the shit right back.
