It made me tear up when Brian said that they could do this because they have Adam. This is all so wonderful!

Hahaha! Wouldn’t that disjoint a few “winners” noses?! I don’t think it’s the right move for Adam right now- he’s just getting started! Have back as a mentor from time-to-time is a good idea but that’s it.
Someone should ask Adam if he worked harder each week to get positive comments from Simon or to impress the audience who ultimately votes and buys CDs and tickets! If Simon mattered so much, I doubt Adam would have fooled around with Ring of Fire – a courageous move and one that impressed a lot of people outside that building.
I don’t think it’ll happen.

I agree, Xena. My gut feeling is that it won’t happen, but even it it is speculation only, it gets his name out and gets people talking, and this can only be a good thing.

I sure hope it doesn’t happen. Adam has better things to do than have to critique everyone else’s singing, and kick people off the show with drawn-out cruelty. He has the whole planet to entertain with his voice!
At first blush it doesn’t sound like the right move for Adam, but considering the kinds of sums they pay (don’t think he’d get what the current judges get, but who knows, CAA is his agency and they go for the jugular), he could finance a lot of albums and tours with that, not to mention set up a healthy 401K… – J
And finally buy the house of his dreams, which he has said so many times he would love to do. I could think of worse things in life than to see Adam’s sexy visage on my TV every week for 1/2 year! I guess time will tell!
I’m sure the people at Idol realize that between the Queen Tour and all the Glamberts around the world, there would be a tremendous audience this season. I read somewhere that Adam really wants to come home and promote his new album. This is his own baby, and I hope this time around that the blasted radio stations play songs from the album. I did read that Adam said his people are working hard to promote this album. Let’s hope it takes off like a rocket when he returns.
If only rosemary. I’ve been listening to top 40 lately and I just don’t hear anything better than most songs on Trespassing. I’m gonna let BTIKM go because it is more adult contemporary. But NCOE should be given play. I know this has been said nd I’m preaching to the choir! Now which of those songs WOULD be a hit. Although not my personal fav, it sound like they will (if he can) go with Cuckoo.
