Adam is a controversy magnet!
Crazy stuff with the lyrics tonight on twitter! But watching a movie with DH and missed a lot. But the liner notes are so sweet. *spoiler alert. Yes, EK, monte was notably missing. Adam is showing him the North Pole! But I still have not gotten the 411 on Kevin. Did her have a better gig? Not working out? I liked his vibe and his harmonies, but I know nada about his musicianship. He sounded fine to me1
I think shout out to Brad was sweet, but maybe the best revenge a little bit, lol.
Tears with thanking all of this family and 2nd family. Amazing how many we know, and some I would probably recognize seeing their pics.
I noticed Sia and Nikka in the thanks for the music area. It seems like so long ago that he was working with those awesome divas. Was so hoping for a colab, especially vocals with Nikka!
It must have been so liberating writing those notes. And we got first thanks!

Buffy, I think Kevin was never a permanent gig but was there for the promo until Tommy was able to join him (in Hartford!!!). Kevin was recommended by the current musical director I believe. Someone else may know this better than I! As for the liner notes, I thought it was nice that he mentioned his fellow AI contestants but what was more telling is who he left off out of the top ten; Michael, Scott and Danny. I guess he wasn’t feeling the vibe from those three even after spending a summer with them!! I love it that he included Brad!!
thanks pumpkit101, I’m not a big band groupie but I just get curious and do follow the band on twitter to try to get scoop! But Cam seems to be gone, and I thought Kev was the “in the pocket” musical director and keyboardist! But this music biz definitely has its mysteries to us! Now I’m waiting for the album to leak since AO seems to have jumped the gun a bit for international fans. My feeling is, if they get their stuff, I want mine! It may be just he box sets which seemed too appealing for me to pass up! But not that $275? set. It sounds awesome though.
Yes, Buffy those liner notes were so touching. I’m sitting here reading them and practically bawling. How endearing can this man be. He even acknowledges his god-son, his “first love”, and all the other family and friends who have stuck by him. It’s like these people are family and friends to us. Cynical people could say “we don’t know them”, but we’ve come to know alot about them and their support of Adam. And in the end he also thanks those who said “No”. We so admire his ability to transcend adversity and move on. Will always be a fan of Adams.
True BonBon, some thinks it’s silly to follow Adam’s family and friends. But in watching the old Idol shows (wish they were 2 hours back then, double the covers of Adam) you see his parents divorced for about 10 years, playing good parents as that was the way back then (notice they don’t feature too much with the parents yet). And the family and friends we have seen in action all this time. They are cool, interesting and loyal. Hey, I would be happy to be friends with any of them. Maybe that’s what makes us a little different (not better) than some of the newer fans. They don’t get it, as they weren’t there! Adam has gone about and beyond celebrity in the sharing of his life….just one of the reasons so many of us are so “connected”.
Juneau, I’m in Rhode Island at a hotel and there are tons of cheerleaders here for a competition! I immediately thought of you!!!

Hi Girls!!
Had the briss this past Thursday for my Grandson and everything was beautiful; what a trooper my grandson is – he hardly even cried & I went back to my daughter’s place and held him for over 2 hours and fell asleep with him. What a peaceful, wonderful feeling to just look at that little face – and he’s a great baby!! Will try to put the latest pic here!

I’m happy it went well DeeDee! Did the ex come? As I was driving home from Rhode Island on my birthday yesterday, I heard for the very first time on the radio BTIKM!!! I had to make sure it was the radio and not my ipod!! The station was 93.3 from Providence and is a Clear Channel. A great BD present

Definitely, el Kat. I will take a 9.5 out of 10 any day! I disagree with his thought that Naked Love didn’t fit on the album. I think it does. The one that sticks out to me is BTIKM. But the review is fantastic and thoughtful. I’ll be interested to see what Rolling Stone has to say. It BETTER be at least a 4 or I will be miffed! (like they care, lol)

oh, niamhcat, thanks for the graphic although I’m still lost on it. I listened to Runnin last night with that in mind thought. Meatloaf will be through the roof as he, as a rocker, gets the craziness of Adam’s range! He kicks it into hight gear on Runnin’. anybody should be able to appreciate that!
