Hello Ladies! Sorry I haven’t been around much, but do have an announcement to make – I AM A GRANDMOTHER!!! Easton Murray was born yesterday at 5:20 PM and everyone is doing fine – Thank God! My daughter was in labor for over 24 hrs and came close to having a C-section, but they finally got him out with the suction vacuum (hoover or dyson?). AND IF I SAY SO MYSELF HE IS THE CUTEST BABY I HAVE EVER SEEN!! AND A SET OF LUNGS ON HIM THAT ADAM MIGHT EVEN BE JEALOUS OF – LOL!! He looks just like my SIL but has my daughter’s lips. I’ll try to post the picture they emailed me – sometimes it doesn’t work when I do it! Needless to say I am in seventh heaven and plan on having lots of fun with this little man of mine!
How damn gorgeous and stunning was Adam on Kimmel and he sounded just as amazing as he looked – the man just keeps on improving every time I see and hear him. Those leather pants should be donated to the Smithsonian Institute – with Adm in them! What a solid pair of powerful sexy legs that man has and I do see the Glambulge arrived along with him!! Adam certainly gives new meaning to “solid as a rock”! In my mind, Adam is the most electrifying performer in the business right now! And I am 100% with Xena – everyone needs to chill out, enjoy all the music Adam has worked so hard on and just go with the flow! Adam is going to make the decisions he feels are right for him whether we agree with all of them or not and everyone needs to have faith in him. I read a comment somewhere saying that after Trespassing is released that Adam would be larger than life and more popular than Elvis ever was – I agree with this wholeheartedly and wish people would just get behind him and stop over-analyzing his every move – especially on Twitter where I have not been too much lately because if all the negativity. Adam is going to be wildly popular; he has the greatest voice I have ever heard, is the world’s most consummate performer and has the type of infectious personality that will make the world fall in love with him – HE WILL BE FINE!

Congratulations! Being a grandmother is probably twice as fun as being a Mom! I love the name that they picked for him.
I haven’t seen Jimmy Kimmel yet-I’m saving it until tomorrow. I had to write a paper tonight.

Congratulations DeeDee! I am so happy for you. I am in love with all of the performances on Kimmel!!! My ultimate favourite is Naked Love, but it is difficult to choose. His joy during the whole set just beams out of the computer and into my heart! He is sexy, and happy and stunning. Those pants are amazing, and the jacket is so cool! I feel like there is so much ahead of us, I don’t know how I am going to cope!!!

Xena, you’re so right. Let’s just chill and go with the flow and enjoy the ride. I guess we know how hard Adam worked on this album and want him to succeed, but he’ll get there. But what is success in the music business? I follow so many other, independent artists who manage their own careers, record their own music, do house concerts, small venues. Music is their life and they make it work. They must be happy doing what they are doing or they’d switch to another career.
Finally got caught up with all the Jimmy K vids. Now…I better get packing for my trip down to Virginia next week. Ciao
I was thinking about Adam and what it means to be successful when I listened to this great interview Jian Ghomeshi did with Kate Bush recently. http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/Radio/1447825254/ID=2219841245 Here’s someone who is highly success, her albums are great hits, and she basically runs her life and career on her own terms, recording the type of music that she wants to record, touring only if she wants to (she’s toured only once…in 1979), and taking time off as needed (she took 12 years off to raise her son).

Thanks kiwi for all the vids. I have questions as always. My local show only had one song. I guess any chance they have at “Paid Programing” comes first! But we soon got a nice professional Trespassing, so I was happy. Love the good fan vids and live stream, but why no Kimmel professional vids for the other songs online? And then I see a very professional vid on youtube from a fan? Are they gradually leaking? okay. Just loved the whole thing and the people who got to go scored a great one!
I was wondering about that too.When I looked at the fan made Broken English video I had an inkling that they might not have put that one up because he was making GB gestures at a couple of points in the song. Not family friendly enough?
Support ? How is pre-ordering 4 versions of the album …so far !!! Can’t help the speculation and worry, I’ve been doing it with my kids since they picked up their first instrument, trying to figure out this crazy, fickle, unfair, capricious, maddening, bull-shit music business – what is the right move and when is the right time ? My kids could have gone to The Berkeley School of Music for free but even then I made them do the Conservatory and Bachelors Degree route … “be the best, know the most” but even then some untrained 15 yr old comes along and is the flavor of the day.
Worry … can’t help it, goes with the territory.

el Kat, I agree, because with all the feelings we have for Adam, one being maternal, we so want everyone to love him the way we do. I can’t help but feel that he is always on the edge of things, instead of being in the spotlight. He is so much more talented than so many of the performers out there, but they are so hyped and rammed down our throats with so much radio play. I trust completely that he knows what he is doing, it’s the people around him I worry about. Once you have children, worry never goes away. You are so right.

this from LiesAngeles : Look who we bumped into tonight? I could not end the night any better than this tonight as I ran into Adam who looked as if he had been reborn into healthiness. His skin glowed, he appeared in great shape, nails done, in a great mood, and ready to be photographed for his fans. Adam spoke with myself and a video guy about his future and the amazing projects he has in the works. All I can say is “Hold On” everyone because I think that Adam is about to take the world by the reigns and change the way we hear and know music.

I just today “unfollowed” Liesangeles cause he didn’t seem to have any Adam scoop! lol. But watching the pap videos on popcandie and other sites show a happy Adam bantering with the paps, looking amazing and the adorbs Sauli acting silly. He surely doesn’t look worried!
