I TAKE IT ALL BACK !!!! The voice is showcased and beautiful. At the beginning I thought it was Bruno. Love it much better than the acoustic and better than the “snippet” .
I think we have a HIT here.
The beat and rhythm take your mind off the lyrics and his voice is perfect. Well done !!

    Oh, I’m so much happier.

I definitely like the final version much better than the acoustic or snippet. I do hope it’s a hit and I’m sure it will stay in my head all night. However, will my sons or my daughter and SIL for that matter download the song? That will be the telling sign!!!

I agree elkat. I thought the first few lines sounded a bit like Bruno. I think he and Adam have similar qualities at certain levels. Anyway, “the beat and rhythm take your mind off the lyrics”, suggests you don’t like the lyrics? lol Maybe I have to go back and read older comments.

But I agree with everyone. This final mix sounds much better. For some reason I keep thinking of it as a “graduation song”. Like kids from middle school through college calling it their “class song”. Like we make our future, but really don’t want to say good bye to old friends and their alma mater. And that is my direction for the video. Oh, didn’t I tell you I was going to direct it? Yeehaa!

      Buffy,
That’s funny-I kept thinking about it as a prom song. Maybe because my daughter’s prom is tonight. It would make a great theme.
Can’t wait to see the video you directed!

Glad to see so many of you coming around! I think the song is about sex, passion and love. Some of Adam’s favourite pastimes!

      Princess,
And so they should be. He has some very worthy pastimes!

I have questions: Is BTIKM on the “light side” or “dark side”? Ditto for NCOE?

      Hmmm, good question.
We’ll know the answer on May 15.

      Buffy,
I think BTIKM is on the dark side, and NCOE is on the light.

I’m totally loving this NCOE. It’s so upbeat, great melody, great beat. A sure winner. This will put Adam on the map.

“A return to dance-pop was inevitable for Glambert, but thankfully that big beautiful voice of his is still coming through loud and clear. “Never Close Our Eyes” may have the kind of production that you’d expect from a Flo-rida or Taio Cruz song, but Glambert still sings over the beat like a rock star and once again proves that he’s the best male pop vocalist in the game today.

This brought tears to my eyes today (thx AQD). So, so happy for him, the rocket has launched.

wow, Never close Our Eyes is amazing!!! The single we have is so much better than the snippet by far! I agree!!! I feel like I have been romanced by this song. In stages. The first snippet was my least favourite of all the snippets, I loved his voice, but I didnt like the music all that much. Then Adam sang it acoustic and OMG!!!!!!!!! It went right up to the top of my fave list from the snippets, in acoustic, that is! I couldnt stop playing it!!!! And now the actual single is amazing! I love the changes that that have been made from the snippet. The song is amazing!!!! I cant wait for the video!!!!!!

So, I woke up this morning to NCOE playing in my head and have been humming it constantly, verrrry hook-ey tune. Love it.

I’ll be out of the loop for a while, taking DH on vacation and out of crackberry range, he soo needs some time off. When I get back I expect to see NCOE at the VERY TOP of the charts !!! If I can find some wifi I’ll try to check in.
    See ya !
