Loved loved loved Adam’s duet with Angie tonight. Perfect song. I wonder who picked it? I would love to hear what Adam did with Sia…wonder if that will ever see the light of day? xox J

Omg, I can’t stop watching this perfect duet. It really was a thing of beauty. Great vocals, harmony. This is how I love Adam…gentle, graceful, generous…..perfect

That man still does something to me! It was a gorgeous song and so humble of him to let Angie shine especially when we know he could hav completely dominated her. I don’t think I can count how many times I’ve watched it either NS. We all needed more of him! It’s like a waiter bringing out your favorite dessert and only letting you take one small bite! However, that bite was delicious!

It really was quite a lovely duet, but was his name ever said ? (I think Angie maybe said “Adam”.) What’s this with Adam and Sia, J? He’s said in the past he really likes her work

Yes. Many are stewing over the less than stellar introduction or welcome that Adam got last night and I, of course, jumped right on the bandwagon. “No one puts Baby in the corner”. I just feel Ryan could have said a little something about Adam’s sold-out international concerts or SOMETHNG…but probably thought he was being witty about the girls flailing so much, with his comment which seemed like an afterthought. But it is what it is, and we have that beautiful duet to help get us through til we see him again.

I don’t know, I’m not stewing over it. Adam got a spotlight last week, so people watching the show regularly would know who he is. It’s also possible he was introduced at the beginning but TV editors snipped it out in favour of squeezing in an extra commercial, which did happen a few times, and was very obvious. Anyone who wants to know who this great vocal was singing with Angie can find out in 2 seconds on Google. This duet was a thing of beauty. It will go down in history. (Ryan’s always short changing Adam. Nothing new there.)

Dang, I have work to do but I can’t drag myself away from the computer,I’ve watched it a dozen times, I’ve converted it to an MP4 so I can watch it on the TV, and an MP3 so I can put it on my iPod! Pumpkit is right, it is such a small sweet taste leaving us wanting more. ( like that stupid commercial “we want more, we want more”)
The smile at 1:06 just freaking kills me!!!

Having trouble posting from over here in Netherlands! But watching that performance over and over. Every time I see it posted, have to watch!

el Kat That is a wonderful article on the performance last night! I felt a little uncomfortable for Adam, when Ryan introduced Jessie J and talked about what was going on with her, while Adam stood on the side. I could not believe that with all he has been doing with his concerts, not one word about ANYTHING Adam was brought up! If people were wondering what ever happened to Adam Lambert since Idol, they would not have learned anything from last night, except how talented, and wonderful he is.

      Rosemary,
I felt weird about the whole thing as well. The duet was lovely, but I really felt like they should be doing Adam’s music, as most of the other guest artists got to showcase theirs. And I was frustrated with the attention showered on Jessie J. (Even though I like her just fine.) I felt like Adam was not treated with the respect he deserves.
