Recap! Showed up for the surgery yesterday at 1:30 and the intake lady commented on my mint green with sparkle nails. I told her that they were my Adam Lambert nails at which point a 5 minute discussion of what he was up to lately followed. I turned on my ipod and had just gotten into Feeling Good when they came and prepared me for surgery. My blood pressure was was 195/95 so I was nervous. Evidently the surgery went well and they sent me home around 4:30 pm. Interesting that there was no pain after this surgery. I had an air bubble put in my eye and had to keep my head down til I went to bed. As my sister, Pearly, was tucking
me into bed I said to her, “Florence, thanks so much for taking care of me..” and without missing a beat she replied, “Good nightin-gail”. You can see where I get the humor. Had a good laugh over that pun.
This morning back to the doctor to check everything and he said it is looking good. The air bubble should disappear in a week and it might take longer for the vision to get better. I am
    glad it is over.

So happy the surgery is all over Gail! It is amazing to me that today we can have surgery and be sent home the same day. DeeDee I think by now that everyone realizes that a lot of Adam’s fans appreciate not only his magnificent voice and personality, but also the people who perform with him. It was so nice of you to comment on them. I am sure they really appreciated it.

Although it is Adam first & foremost that I am interested in;and Isaac is one very intelligent drummer the band he has now complements him perfectly. LOVE Ashley, Brian is a great addition and the Va-JayJays are great back-up singers. Tommy has come a long way and Isaac is one very intelligent drummer – always being very much attuned to the way Adam is singing so he can adjust how he is playing. If we learned anything from Adam, you need to acknowledge
people that work with you so closely – PROPS TO THAT WHOLE BAND!

      Yeah Gail, Good news !
You need those good eyes to gaze at every picture of male perfection, AFL.

      el Kat,

Rampant silliness! I’m not sure who in the world doesn’t have “voracious sexual appetites” at some point in our lives! It’s kinda in all of us (humans), isn’t it?

      • May 27, 2012 10:20 pm

These people should only know about the goings – on at my house; talk about “voracious sexual appetites”; they would suffer s stroke at any point!!

          DeeDee,
It warms my heart to think there are “goings-on” at your house. Way to go!!

It is a fairly stupid review, but then they were probably never going to like it.

I just want to throw my arms around him! I think I am going to practice my jumping ability in case I have the nerve to do what that girl did at the concert if I get the chance. Either that or one of you can boost me up.
