Does Adam Lambert’s Song Characterize ’50 Shades of Grey’? by Renee Snyder Would Adam Lambert’s song “Chokehold” be a good theme song for the best-selling novel 50 Shades of Grey? Adam may or may not have read the book, but he at least knows the plot, because today he tweeted, “I swear my song “Chokehold” should be the theme for 50 Shades of Grey. While it might characterize the books, do you want his song associated with the story? You might want to think about that after reading this hilarious review…..
Katrina Lumsden’s Reviews > Fifty Shades of Grey Ana is just a giant mess of a human being. She’s insecure to the point of it being laughable, ‘klutzy’ (even though she only trips twice in the entire book), and a complete ditz. She’s a virgin (of course) who’s never taken any sexual interest in anyone before. Right. I’m fairly certain there hasn’t been a woman this naive since ’round about 1954. At one point, she thinks putting her hair in pigtails will keep her safe from Christian’s lusty advances. Fuckin’ really? She “flushes” constantly, and on several occasions referred to her hoo-hoo-naughty place as “down there.” Next, we have Christian Grey: Christian is a misogynistic, self-loathing, abusive piece of shit. Apparently, his only redeeming qualities are, in this order; his ridiculous good looks, his money, and his giant penis. The only time Ana seems to like him as a person is when he’s being “lovable”, and those times are few and far between. Most of the time he’s serious, brooding, and threatening. How charming.I knew from the very first line this wasn’t going to be good….. it’s long but a very entertaining read

I was there at the WinStar show! My sister and I drove 5 1/2 hours to see Adam!! I am TOTALLY OBSESSED with him so thank you for your daily and weekly updates!! I love him so much and it’s so good to know I’m not alone. The concert was FANTASTIC and he looked and sounded great! Such a wonderful human being! Thank you thank you Adam for feeding my soul!!!

Regarding “Chokehold” as a theme for Fifty Shades of Grey: I am NOT in favor of this because I do not like the book in any way, shape or form and hope Adam is NOT associated with this travesty of a story. I have read several book reviews and they were all negative, in much the same vein as the one here.
On a lighter note, I saw Adam at the Winstar Casino last Friday night and he was on fire that night! Loved him in the red pants; could hardly believe my eyes when he came on in them.

I hope Adam’s song is not associated with anything about this book and any other potential projects coming out of it. Very poor quality, so out-of-date in social values and as any positive representation of modern society. The Rebecca Black of current writing.
