Isn’t Byron’s interview supposed to be up by now?
I have been requesting Adam’s new song on my local radio stations in e-mails and by phone. Today I finally talked to a human being and asked her if they’ve been playing BTIKM because, frankly, I haven’t heard it when I was listening. She told me that they haven’t received enought requests for that record and when they do they’ll probably play it. I live in Wisconsin and the station, Z93, is in LaCrosse. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am that they would not even take one person’s request into account. Maybe, because this station basically caters to younger people (many of Adam’s fans are ardent supporters) and it is a college town, they keep playing the same old spins of the, ahem, bigger stars. I hope someday the station rues their decision on holding back on some artists. I’m sure when Adam accepts his Grammy in the future, they just may do that. Now, I am on a quest to find a station somewhere in my area, Winona maybe, that is open to some really good music and cares what even one listener might request. This area is heavily into Country/Western but because of the colleges I thought there might be more open mindedness. I am so f–king frustrated….Anyone else having this problem in their area?
