Adam Lambert Daily Update – November 21, 2011 – AMAs!!
Adam was elegant and spectacular as he arrived on the red carpet tonight. And he did not disappoint. His outfit made a statement, and not only fashionwise. He wore the same tie, vest and trousers from his 2009 AMA performance. This time he contrasted the silvery metallic fabric with a snow white shirt and black frock coat lining in electric blue. On his feet, the same black patent crocodile cowboy boots that he sported in 2009. So many message rolled into that outfit!
Adam was merely introducing his frequent collaborator Ryan Tedder’s band One Republic, but from the roar of the AMA audience, you would have thought he was going to perform. Fans watching from around the world no doubt felt their hearts swell to bursting at the reception Adam received. He delivered his short, sweet speech with a wry grin. We missed the sexy and the ninja roll. No doubt he will be performing on that stage a year from now.

Unfortunately, Adam didn’t perform, he just introduced OneRepublic (a band featuring his frequent collaborator Ryan Tedder)…but still, it was all very exciting.”
