Press and Blog Coverage

Hubpages – Adam Lambert Pulls an Oprah “Yes, Adam Lambert, like Oprah, is, in his small way, a hero. As evidenced by one night’s outpouring of compassion for those less fortunate on the heels of the holiday season in bad economic times, as we watch our leaders spew hate and blame and spite at one another publicly, Adam Lambert inspires love, peace, tolerance and generosity towards others.”

Examiner Matt Carter – Adam Lambert fans come out for charity support, birthday celebration “So how is it working so far? Let’s just say that it is more than a little bit successful. Adam fans not only raised the goal in the matter of a few short hours, but it is (as of this writing) almost at $45,000 raised.”

Thanks ladies for spreading the word about Adam’s new charity; and look at what’s been raised already – Adam will far exceed his expectations of $29,000.00 by his birthday!! -something he can be extremely proud of. Donating to this cause was the best way to celebrate the birthday of a man that we so openly adore, and I will donate once again closer to his birthday. I can’t help but think back to when Adam was on AI and all of us began our journey with him. One of the best days of my life was the very first day I wrote on our former blog and got acquainted with the both of you and everyone’s love affair with Adam really began to blossom. I thank Adam from the bottom of my heart for entering my life and learning so much from this amazing human being and for letting me encounter so many wonderful women along the way – present company included.

    Love you both,

    DeeDee

A stunning result! Add this to the money raised on his behalf at DonorsChoose, he’s a fundraiser extraordinaire and all it takes is one email from his fan club.

$290,000 by his birthday? YES WE CAN. I’ve been putting clean water for the world in my prayers every morning for a while now and waking up to this cause embraced by Adam is an answer to these prayers and is thrilling. GO GLAMILY!

I think now would be a good time for Adam to use his youtube channel to post us on this project. Three things in one, support this project, support the youtube project and give us a good long look at that long hair! And what is up with the Golden Globes?

Love the support an recognition you are giving my charity: water but there doesn’t seem to be a direct link to Adam’s page on their site listed here.

The water glass image is linked to Adam’s page, but that’s a bit obscure, so I added a more explicit link. Thanks for pointing it out!! – J
