Hot off the Web – From VH1 Adam Lambert Talks About His Inspiration For The Glam Nation Tour. A great blog post in which Adam offers a wealth of detail about the thinking that went into the concept for his show.
The Glam Nation starship has blasted off! Adam’s fans will be stretched to their limits trying to stay on top of all the concert footage, photos and stories. Unless you are a more highly evolved being like Katesistergood, who has taken a vow of celibacy and will refrain from Adamgazing until June 24, when she plans to lose her tour virginity at Foxwoods. We’ll see how long she lasts. We don’t intend to cast cruel temptations in her path, but we would be remiss in our duties if we did not compile our favorite concert documentation for our readers’ delectation. Here we go:

1. My iPhone! I cant leave home without my phone to keep in contact with my friends and family. It also holds all of my music!
2. My computer, of course. This is where I get to keep my creative juices flowing and I get to note a lot of my ideas. This is also where I get to keep in touch with my fans!
3. A flip cam. This allows me to capture moments behind the scenes to share with my fans!
4.A good book. With so much traveling and time on a bus, it is great to have a good read with me.
5. Nail Polish! Gotta keep my nails neat!
6. Journal. With this, I can write lyrics for any ideas of songs that I have as well as take notes on all of these amazing experiences that I am getting to participate in.
7. A hat! When I don’t want to do my hair, my hat always comes in handy.
8. Sharpies! Gotta have lots of these so I can sign autographs for fans!
9. Liquid Chlorophyll. Greens are so vital to good health!
10. My jewelry. I cant leave home without my accessories.

June 9 – You know we are huge admirers of Orianthi (see our previous post about this amazing guitarist), so we were happy to see this great Beatweek article. She talks about her new album, Believe (II), released today.
Orianthi: the Beatweek interview – “… within the world of professional musicians, Orianthi is one of the most sought-after lead guitarists in the industry and she’s played on new releases from artists ranging from Adam Lambert to Mary J Blige in the past year alone…she debuted her live take of Prince’s “Lets Go Crazy” on the first night of Glam Nation over the weekend. And yes, she’s already collaborated with Prince in the studio as well…Speaking of the Glam Nation tour, it’s Adam Lambert’s baby, and he told me back in April that the tour is going to be all about atmosphere and interactivity for him. Xena and Juneau: After the two Nokia concerts in NY, I’m heading to Foxwoods with women I’ve met through Adam. Three concerts in three days!!! Late to discover the virtual world of Adam supporters, I only found out about the thousands, or is it millions, of women, primarily, who adore Adam for so many reasons. I have been savoring your column since my return from Adam’s Indio concert, where I learned about “On the Meaning of Adam Lambert.” BTW: I just ordered your book and Eye of Horus tattoos today. I am a writer in the photo industry and have thought about compiling thoughts from Adam fans about the impact he has had on our lives. I for one have evolved my opinion about gay marriage because of Adam, about which I emailed you while listening to your show with Amy Walden the other day. Great show! My terra firma name is Alice Miller. I look forward to meeting you, perhaps at the pre-concert party or afterward at the Glamfest, both organized by fans. Adam literally made me listen to music again. I thank him for the love and the joy, his humor and candor, passion and compassion, and gorgeous body parts!
Oh, lucky lady! In addition to both of us at Foxwoods, I will attend the Kiss FM Wham Bam show in Toronto where I live. We are also planning for Montreal & Hyannis in August. We’re also considering a Glam Caravan to follow the tour around the north east beginning with Concord NH. Do you think our families would enjoy this trip for their summer vacations?
Perhaps all the fans should wear glittery nametags with their cyber identities written on them so we can find each other.
