I saw Adam’s performance in Australia of FYE and viewed that jaw – dropping, awe – inspiring outfit along with that humongous codpiece that he fills out perfectly, and really am at a loss for words to describe Adam and all his amazing capabilities!!!
I feel like I’m ready to start an essay of my own rather shortly about the following. Ever since Adam has come into our lives and basically given everyone valuable lessons about how to entertain, perform, how to present oneself doing so, and how to look drop – dead sexy in the process. Adam has taken every notion of what we were taught regarding masculinity and sexuality and has turned everything topsy- turvy and upside down. Adam has brought us to the crossroads where we now need to take all previous, antiquated, old – fashioned thoughts regarding male masculinity and sexuality, throw them to the dogs, and adopt new ideals – as Adam has totally redefined what sexuality is truly all about. He has become the new epitome of what true masculinity and sexuality are really all about, not just as far as outward physical appearances are concerned, but also the inner qualities of what encompass the brand new sexually enlightenened man for the new millenium. Adam has become, in fact, the new role model by which we now measure what male masculinity is and will be about and how he has forever altered how we all view male sexuality – he has truly made me, and most likely everyone else, open my eyes to what an appealing, sexually charged and emancipated male is and should be about. Talk about making a difference in people’s lives – we are all undergoing major surgery where Adam is doing the surgery and exorcising all old concepts regarding the traditional male roles that men have had for so many years. How would have ever thought that it would take an magnificent looking 28 year old entertainer to shed our old skins and undergo a regeneration of ideals that will never be the same. There is a new barometer by which to measure what a true man shoukd be for the new century and his name is Adam Lambert.
As usual, Xena, your commentary is insightful and definitely makes me put on my thinking cap, as usual. It is such a pleasure to have people such as yourself and Juneau to get the old gray matter in gear and think abut matters that will be making such a profound difference in how we will be viewing our male counterparts and their new ideals and how they view their own sexuality. Please never give up writing in this salon!!

I swear, after I saw this performance on YouTube Saturday night my tongue was dragging on the floor for so long I was nearly speechless. For almost an hour I was walking around the house saying, “Wow! O.M.G. wow! Just…wow!” I couldn’t stop saying it to myself, I was struck dumb LOL! Thank you, Xena, for helping me put some words to this!
Then a matter of hours later he gave a sweet acoustic tv performance, just amazing. He’s like a cross between the nice guy next door and the dark, seen-it-all bad boy. Safe, yet a rebel at the same time. Irresistable!
I Am so glad to come here and read your blog. Adam change my life in so many ways. I , sometimes , can’t find the right words to describe how I feel watching him. Thanks for helping me find the words and relive these amazing moment of Adam.
